FreeRTOS+TCP with Cerebot Mx7ck

Lina

Question

Hello!

I'm trying to add FreeRTOS's TCP/IP source files into a project that uses the Cerebot Mx7ck board. I looked through the demos they provide and wasn't able to find anything related, so I've been trying to port FreeRTOS+TCP by following the process described on their website: https://www.freertos.org/FreeRTOS-Plus/FreeRTOS_Plus_TCP/Embedded_Ethernet_Porting.html#NetworkBufferDescriptor_t

I was wondering if anyone has successfully done this before? So far the project builds with all the TCP/IP files included, but I'm struggling to figure out all the pieces needed to get the Ethernet MAC driver setup and pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi @Lina,

I apologize for the delay. Digilent does not have any materials using an MX7 based board with FreeRTOS. It seems that MPLAB Harmony from Microchip has some material (such as the one here), though they all use an Ethernet starter kit, and I'm not certain how easily that could be adapted to the already included Ethernet hardware.

Thanks,
JColvin
