btb4198
what ohms are Uc32 J7 resistors? R22-R33? I did not see it on here: http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/chipKIT%20uC32_rm.pdf
Bianca
Hello, Here is the schematic of uC32. Tracking the signals from J7 (last page) you can see that is connected through 200Ohm resistances to the Port B of the microcontroller (3rd page). Best regards, Bianca
btb4198
yeah I saw that, but I am sending 4mA to it and I am getting 4V back so it cant be 200 ohms. V = I * R so V should be 0.8V
Bianca
It is 200Ohm. Just in case that our documentation might be wrong, I measured the resistances with a multimeter and I got 200Ohm. The information provided is correct.
Larry Standage
btb4198: Where are you measuring 4V? You say 4V, but you don't indicate if that is across the resistor or some other point in the net. 0.8V makes sense if you are measuring across the resistor. But if you are measuring somewhere else, then it depends on your port settings, state, etc.
Bianca
Exactly. I measured across the resistances and I got 0.8V. I also tried to measure in other points along them and I couldn't obtain 4V. Where are you measuring?
