Arty A7 takes a lot of time to load after power up

I have a new Arty A7 board. I flash programmed it. When I connect the power supply/USB, it takes almost 10 seconds for my program in the flash to start. I followed the exact same steps mentioned in the Digilent Documentation to flash my Arty. Why is it working so slow?

Hi,

check your options for bitstream generation. There is a clock frequency setting that determines the time it takes to move the data from flash to FPGA.

1) Are you programming the QSPI flash through SDK or through Vivado?

2) Here is the Arty Programming Guide and the How To Store Your SDK Project in SPI Flash that should help depending on what type of project you are using.
