Zybo Z7-20 with Pmod CAN

I am trying to use my Zybo Z7-20 board with the Pmod CAN.

With the help of Getting Started with Digilent Pmod IPs I added the Pmod CAN IP to my Zybo Z7-20 base design. When I try to add a 100MHz clock to ths PS configuration, I always got an error:

How can I make a 100MHz clock available for the Pmod CAN with a Zybo Z7-20 PS?

Hi @Schuette,

Please attach screen shot of your block design along with your project settings.

Did you run block automation prior to trying to add the additional clock?

I am using Vivado v2018.3 (64-bit) SW Build: 2405991 on Thu Dec 6 23:36:41 MST 2018 IP Build: 2404404 on Fri Dec 7 01:43:56 MST 2018

My procedure:

1. Create new RTL project with "Zybo-Z7-Master.xdc"
2. Add "vivado-library" as IP repository in project settings
3. Create Block Design
4. Add IP: ZYNQ7 Processing System
5. Run Block Automation
6. Connect Board Component: JB to PmodCAN_v1_0
7. Run Connection Automation

But it is not possible to create the 100 MHz clock...

In one of three attempts i was able to create the 100 MHz clock but then I got critical warnings during validation:

Hi @Schuette,

The reference manual for the Zybo Z7 here discusses this issue and explains that these critical warnings should be ignored. 

I get this critical warning every time i generate a bitstream with the zybo-z7.
