Michael_Noel
I am getting a "Channel 1 range will be extended!" message in the upper right hand corner of my scope screen. I have not be able to find that in the user documentation anywhere. Can anyone tell me what it means?
attila
Hi @Michael_Noel The Scope inputs of the Analog Discovery have two gain steps, 5V and 50V pk2pk with ~0.3mV and ~3mV resolution. You are looking with Scope 1 at 1V range and have configured the trigger level to 3.2V. The warning notifies your that in order to trigger at 3.2V the 50V range will be used. You would have better resolution if you were triggering in range of +/-2.5V, or using the other channel, or external trigger.
