Waveforms SDK, logging SPI spy with system time stamp

I need to spy on an SPI connection for a long period of time which will require timestamps on the data to find approximate times of transmission.

As this is not possible in Waveforms (which is a real shame) has anyone written any software that uses the SDK to do something similar to this? It would save me a bit a work if there was already an existing solution.

Hi @callum413,

Depending on how long you are sampling, this may be possible to do within the WaveForms GUI itself as per this thread. Otherwise I believe this feature has been requested for the SPY mode (rather than just master mode) based on this thread, though I do not know what the current status is on this. @attila, do you happen to have an update on that second half?

Tomorrow beta build will support time stamp identified by the software. High precision timer is not available in the device.
