QSPI Program Load is Slow

Hello All,

I'm currently working with Basys3 for small verilog program and place the program in QSPI so it will be reload every time the device is restart (or PROG button incidentally pressed). but my program is very slow (around 6 second) to load. I follow the this reference (https://reference.digilentinc.com/learn/programmable-logic/tutorials/basys-3-programming-guide/start). can my program load more faster like the demo program? or at least under 3 second.

Hi,

I suspect you're using slow default options for bitstream generation. Increase the clock rate and enable bitstream compression. It should be much faster.

Thanks for helpful answer, it's really help, now I can load my program much faster. I already set the clock at 33MHz and bitstream compression. but some how I need to restart the vivado and reload the project (and also restart the computer) to make it work.
