Doing frequency response (transfer function) measurement with external excitation signal

Question

I want to do frequency response measurement using external excitation signal. Is it possible?

The network/impedance analyzer seems limited to using  Wavegen to generate excitation signal.

Spectrum doesn't seem to allow math operation of FFT CH1/FFT CH2.

Any suggestion?

Hi @suktan

No. The NA performs untriggered captures and looks for peak on scope channel 1 which will consider as current frequency step. It expects an external slow sweep.

You could eventually use the Script tool and process the data FFT1/FFT2, from triggered Scope or Spectrum, see:
