Basys 3 to PMOD DA4

Hey,

So I am currently trying to set up my DAC to interface using SPI and I am having some troubles.  I haven't been able to find much information on the PMOD DA4 and there are currently no IP modules that support it either.  I know this is kind of vague but could anybody offer me any wisdom on the matter or point me in the direction of some resources which might help

Hi @cv625413,

Unfortunately, we haven't had bandwidth to create an IP Core for the Pmod DA4 . The PmodDPG1 has the same pin out as the Pmod DA4. I would use the PmodDPG1 IP Core and alter it to work with the Pmod DA4. I would use the arduino example here  and the AD5628 datasheet as a reference for how to configure and use the Pmod DA4. You will only need to alter code in the PmodDPG1.c, PmodDPG1.h and the main.c. Also here is the Pmod DA4 resource center. Here is a forum thread that discusses getting the Pmod DA4 working in HDL.
