NEXYS 2 FX2 clock lines

What are the three connections on the 100 pin connector on the Nexys 2 board?  FX2-CLKIN, FX2-CLKOUT, FX2-CLKIO

Based on the naming convention Digilent uses and page 4 of the reference manual for the FX2 Bread Board here i would say these pins are meant to be clock inputs and outputs through the FX2 connector. In Table 1. FX2 signals and connector pinout is show that the CLKOUT  is a clock from the host to peripheral, CLKIN is a clock from peripheral to host, and the CLKIO  is a clock from host to peripheral.
