Hi @bminior,

On the JTAG-SMT2-NC, the only ESD protection is internal the I/O buffers on the board; we did not add any additional ESD diodes, so if you are wanting some additional ESD protection you will need to add it yourself to suit your needs. There is some detail about the current ESD rating in section 7 of the JTAG SMT2-NC Reference Manual (link).
