Stuart
Hi I have a JTAG-HS3 programmer. Trying to program an Artix-7 from Vivado. Vivado can't see hardware. Adept can't see the device either. Windows device manager shows as "USB Serial Converter" but no mention of digilent (Bus reported device description = "Single RS232-HS") Does it need reprogramming? Thanks Stuart

Stuart
Thanks but that didn't work for me. Programmer still not seen from vivado. In Windows device manager it has moved to Other Devices -> Single RS232-HS. Should be recognised as "Digilent USB Device" according to a previous question https://forum.digilentinc.com/topic/13481-jtag-hs3-under-device-manager-what-is-it/?page=0#comment-35106

Question
Stuart
Hi
I have a JTAG-HS3 programmer.
Trying to program an Artix-7 from Vivado.
Vivado can't see hardware. Adept can't see the device either.
Windows device manager shows as "USB Serial Converter" but no mention of digilent
(Bus reported device description = "Single RS232-HS")
Does it need reprogramming?
Thanks
Stuart
