Question: Would the Analog Discovery 2 with the BNC board be suitable as an oscilloscope to debug the FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) control system? (sufficient bandwidth and sampling rate) Based on the specifications of the RoboRio it appears that it would be sufficient but I would like to get some more experienced opinions. The increased bandwidth and sampling rate of a bench top oscilloscope do not appear to offer any benefit in this application. (but please tell me if I am incorrect). The application would be reading/debugging sensors that would be connected to the various comm protocols of the Rio. Therefore the limiting factor appears to be the capabilities of the RoboRio.(if the scope can handle these it should handle whatever is hooked up to it) I would also be interested to know if the AD2 would work with sensors that are being processed by an Arduino.
