Zybo (Original) QSPI HDMI Configuration

Lao.Alex.512

Question

I'm wondering how the HDMI (DVI signal? or actual HDMI?) signal in the bit stream stored on the QSPI chip is generated. I have managed to generate my own 1600x900 and 1920x1080 (Overclocked) VGA and HDMI signals that work on many monitors except the HDMI signal does not work on one of my monitors (BenQ BL2420PT). So far the stock QSPI bit stream is able to show a test pattern on every monitor I tested the board on but I am not able to replicate that with my own design, something is different about my HDMI signal and I can't figure out what.

Does the QSPI bit stream read the EDID ROM? Maybe this one monitor I have is picky about VSYNC and HSYNC polarity.
