schudson9
Hi, per my professor's requirement's, I bought The Analog Discovery (link here) http://store.digilentinc.com/analog-discovery-100msps-usb-oscilloscope-logic-analyzer/ which I believe interfaces with the original Waveforms software linked here: http://store.digilentinc.com/waveforms-download-only/ . I have a Mac running OS X and am worried these will not work with my system. Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated. Sean
attila
Hello, The software download on the new Store page is complicated, but you can download the software easily from the following page:https://reference.digilentinc.com/waveforms3#newest
schudson9
That is Waveforms 2015 correct? So you are saying if I have the Analog Discovery (NOT Analog Discovery 2), it will work with Waveforms 2015 and with my Mac?
JColvin
That is correct. The Waveforms 2015 software will work with both versions of the Analog Discovery. Thanks, JColvin
schudson9
My only worry was that the back of my Design Kit says "Requires Windows XP or Higher"
attila
At the time Analog Discovery (1) case was designed only WaveForms v2. existed and this works only on Windows. The WaveForms 2.7.5 on store.digilentinc.com only supports EExplorer and Analog Discovery (1). On the following page you can find WaveForms v2.9.4 which supports EExplorer, Analog Discovery (1) and Analog Discovery 2. Here you can also find WaveForms (v3.x.x) 2015 (soon 2016) which is the new cross platform replacement for the earlier software. This supports EExplorer, Analog Discovery (1) and Analog Discovery 2. This software is available for Window, OS X, Linux (x86,amd64,arm). https://reference.digilentinc.com/waveforms3#newest
schudson9
Okay I have tried to connect my Kit to my Mac however the 2015 software is telling me "No device detected". Yes, I have installed the driver. I restarted my Mac and it found it... No more questions for now. Thank you. Sean
