cdabacan Posted December 4, 2014 Share Posted December 4, 2014 I got this question from a customer: I'd really like to buy a compact USB JTAG programming cable for configuring Xilinx XC95xx CPLDs, but I don't know which one. In the docs for the HS3 cable it is explicitely stated that programming XC95 is not possible. For HS1 or HS2 there are no lists of target devices. Can HS1 or HS2 be used to programm XC95xx XPLDs? Cristian.Fatu Posted December 4, 2014 Share Posted December 4, 2014 Hello, The only cable we have that is able to program these CPLDs is the Xilinx XUP USB-JTAG Programming Cable http://www.digilentinc.com/Products/Detail.cfm?NavPath=2,395,716&Prod=XUP-USB-JTAG Unfortunately none of other cables will help you programming Xilinx 9500/9500XL CPLDs.
