problem with triggering low frequency signals

I have trouble correctly triggering signals below typically 0.5Hz. From 0.5Hz and upwards, the WaveForms scope triggers correctly, however below 0.5Hz, the trigger point is unpredictable.

What can be the reason for this and is there a workaround for it?

By default the Scope, with time base at 100mV/div or above, changes the run button function to scan. Change the Run mode to Repeated.
Set trigger mode to Normal, to not to enter in Auto triggered mode.

Setting the trigger mode to Normal solved the problem. Thanks a lot.
