MatLab for Analog Discovery 2 - Are there plans?

I was about to order the original Analog Discovery until I discovered the improved AD2. So I've been waiting for months for MatLab support.

Is MatLab support a volunteer effort or is it something that Diligent does. If it's a volunteer effort I'd like to speak with someone to see if I can help.
