Buffer DD Pattern Generator

Hi,

would it be possible to increase the the buffer size of the pattern generator of the Digital Discovery from 32k to the >1M range if the data is stored in the DDRAM instead of Block RAM of the FPGA? For our application the 32k buffer is rather limited compared to the buffer for acquisition of the Digital Input (2Gbit). It would be no problem if the buffer for acquisition is reduced accordingly.

Currently the Pattern Generator custom buffer option is designed to let each digital line to run at different frequencies and number of samples. For this, each line has its own buffer (BRAM) which can't be ported to use the DDRAM.
I'm planning to add an option to be able to play a pattern on DIO lines, similar to record, but unfortunately I don't know when it will be implemented.
