I am new to FPGA work and recently bought a Spartan 3A/3AN Starter Kit
I have been able to program the FPGA via JTAG USB cable and the iMPACT (xlinx ISE 14.7) Software.
The problem is that when I disconnect power, I lose the program. How do I program it so it will continue its operation after power is lost?
I know that i have to program one of the flash memories on the board for it to be non volatile (which should upload the program to the FPGA on power up)
The user manual is not clear and I find it quite confusing as how to do this.
Can anyone recommend any tutorials or further posts/notes in order to achieve this please?
