Arty Artix-7 FPGA Development Board

Hello,

 

Does the Arty Artix-7 FPGA Development Board come with a node locked and device locked full seat Vivado Design Suite: Design Edition as advertised on http://www.xilinx.com/products/boards-and-kits/arty.html ? The Digilent page below only mentions a WebPack license.

Hi Josh,

I talked with the appropriate people at Digilent and they said yes, the ARTY board (from the Digilent website) will come with a Vivado Design Suite: Design Edition that is both node locked and device locked.

Yes, it does.

I'll receive my board from Avnet tomorrow, and should be able to confirm it.

It has just been delivered (a day early!). It came with a voucher for the Vivado tools.

I am wondering if I purchase the board through Digilent instead of Avenet if I would get the Vivado Design Suite license. The Digilent page only mentions using a WebPack license, a Vivado Design Suite license is not mentioned.

You could ask Digilent.

I had a problem with the license - the voucher code wasn't accepted. I'll have to contact Xilinx support.

Awesome, I will be ordering one soon! You might want to let them know that they should update the Arty page on www.digilentinc.com to communicate that to customers so that they don't run off to Avenet.

i purchased the Arty through Digilent and it came with voucher.

no problems integrating license with existing Zybo node-locked Vivado Design Suite.
