    data read write to flash

Hi, I am using virtex 5 LX50T. I am developing some code in xilinx ise design suite. first i was storing some data in ddr2 but now i want to use flash to store some data as it stores data permanently. however only material i could find on the internet is related to EDK and microblaze. can you recommend me some link from where i can see how to store data within flash. Also, in virtex 5 reference manual, following line is written " A reference design on the Digilent website provides an example of driving the Flash memory " however i could not find a design on the website. Thankx in advance

    Genesys Encrytpion

Has anyone been able to load an encrypted mcs file on the Virtex 5 based Gensys? I can encrypt the bit file and load it directly and the board boots (of course once I load the encryption key.) However, when I load the MCS file the board doesn't boot, and a scan of the device status in Impact shows CRC error.
  4. Hi, We're designing several boards that have a mixture of XIlinx Fpgas. One such board has multiple Virtex 5's, a Kintex 7 and a Spartan 6. We want to use a JTAG-SMT2 board to both configure the Fpgas and then use Chipscope for debugging. This means that all the Fpgas would be on a single JTAG chain. Has this been done before? Should a configuration like this work? We would be driving (via USB) the JTAG-SMT2 from an embedded linux processor and use the ADEPT SDK for configuration as well as implementing USB over Ethernet so that the Xilinx debug tools could run seamlessly on a laptop. Thanks Marc Howard
  5. If I want to port the current Vmod CAM Atlys Demo to Genesys. Do I only need to change the UCF and target device?
