I am using a Nexys-4 DDR board which has an internal clock of 100 MHz frequency. I am using clocking wizard to generate a pulse of 6.78 MHz and duty ratio of 0.3. I am getting the correct result in simulations but when I observe the output on oscilloscope I do not see a proper pulse. It does not have sharp edges. I get a proper output for lower frequencies. I am unable to find out what is the reason behind this. I am using a 200 MHz bandwidth DSO and an x10 probe for measuring the output. Thanks, Yogita
Hi, I am trying to capture a periodic negative pulse which duration is less than 10 us. If I set trigger to pulse, condition to negative and Lcondition to more than 5 us, the trigger works as expected and a negative pulse of approx 5.5 us is captured. However, when I set the Lcondition to less than 10 us (5.5 us is obviously less than 10 us) it won't trigger.
For the waveform generator to be useful as a load step FET controller, I will need to control both the rise time and fall time of the same pulse. Any suggestions for most easily achieving this?
Hello all. New to WaveForms, so excuse me if this is too easy. I'd like to capture an analog channel, and two digital ones - where information is encoded into the width of the pulses. Sure enough, I can do this. But of the digital, one is PWM, which I'd like to manipulate into the corresponding stream of percentages (or 8-bit values, does not matter); the other one encodes the duration of something - therefore I'd like to measure their positive duration, as in a timer/counter... Can this be done in WaveForms with the AD2?
