  1. Hi I am trying to interface PMOD Wifi with PMOD ALS on a Digilent Zedboard. The idea is to display the ALS values on the HTML Page(default PinsPage.htm) every few seconds. I am stuck with the Application Code. I have checked the code which is used to read switches data to read the LED state and turn it on or off. Do I need to write code similar to that inorder to interface the ALS sensor and display its values on the HTML Page. Or is there any other method to achieve the same. Kindly suggest a way forward. I've attached the block diagram for reference. Thanks in advance.
  2. Hello, I've been following the HTTP Server example project video ( However, after I copy the example code into my project folder, I get an error about including the DEIPcK header file. There are also several other errors about unresolved includes, but this is the first one I encountered. I've tried copying the PMOD_Wifi/src folder into my project folder, but include errors keep showing up. Any ideas?
  3. Hello i'm using 2 ZedBoards cards with Vivado 2017.4 (for the record - i've tried to work with 2018.1 but from some reason there was a problem with the wifi's library and someone here at the forum suggest to work with 2017.4. link to this post: the 2 ZedBoards are connected with the PmodWiFi module, this module has been tested and the hardware is working fine. my goal is to transfer a 120*160 matrix of integers from one zedboard to another. i've succeded to transfer string or several integers between the boards. the project are based on the tcp client and tcp server which exists in the examples inside PmodWiFi library. (also tried the UDP examples, didn't work). i'm sending each time an array of 160 elements. so in total in each transfer there are 640 bytes of data. the function being used is: tcpSocket.writeStream((u8*)mat,160*4)) in while loop until 120 transfers are being made. the current situation is that i'm not getting all the packets at the second card. in average 15-20 packets from total 120 packets are recieved. after a research i've made, i get an offer to put the function -> DEIPck::periodicTasks(); after every write stream but it didn't work. putting sleep(2) after each send also didn't solve the issue. attached a screenshot of the relevant code which will help to explain how the send data works. i'll be glad if someone could help with this topic or refer me to relevant project.
  4. Hello, I recently received a PMOD wifi (the digilent one). I want to connect it to my zybo, already running linux-yocto with spi interface etc ... So I don't think I need the IP pmod wifi, I can make the connection myself. My question is, is there a getting started to make work the PMOD wifi ? e.g. some code to comminucate with the module. regards, Yohan
  5. Hello, I am very new to FPGA so please bare with me. I am having a Pmod Wifi board and a Basys3 FPGA board and a Nexus4 Board. I need guidance for simple running tutorial of the Wifi with FPGA. A VHDL/Verilog based code sample will help a lot. I have tried to implement a microblaze based design in Vivado but i m very bad at it and could get success. Can any one help?? Thank you in advance.
  6. Hi, I am using nexys 4 Artix 7 fpga. I want to access sensor data connected at JXADC Pmod port and the sensor output data I want to display on HTTP Server or in a web page.I already able to access GPIO pin through HTTPServer and turning on off fpga board leds.I added PmodACL2 code but it's showing error "invalid conversion from 'u32* {aka long unsigned int*}' to 'u32 {aka long unsigned int}' [-fpermissive] xspi_l.h /PmodWifiACL/src line 122 C/C++ Problem" I am facing problem in interfacing PmodACL2 with HTTPServer code for displaying sensor output at HTTPServer page or web page. Please help regarding that and if possible suggest needful resources because I have not prior experience with SDK and c++. Thanks, Dewang Shukla
  7. Hello all, I have the MX4CK pic32 cerebot board, and am trying to implement the pmod wifi. I have attempted to use several of the available examples from Microchip, to no avail, and haven't come across anybody who has successfully implemented the pmod wifi. Can anyone help out with some starter c code for MPLAB? I would like to implement it as ad-hoc / point to point wifi to communicate with my linux box over TCP (or any other layer), but something router-based would be fine, if I can get my hands on a router. Apologies if it sounds like a plea of laziness. I have been toying with trying to get this thing to work for over a year, and again, have only heard second-hand of anyone actually getting it to work. Frankly, my confidence in the support for this pmod is waning. I have implemented I2C, spi, and basically every other board peripheral except for this one, and I have a decent grasp of networking and sockets. Part of it may be that I have simply never used MPIDE, only MPLABX, so I haven't been able to get the c++/duino style examples running. Also, whatever I get running I will most certainly post. I'm tired of reading dead-end queries about the MRF24WB0MA, and would like to save the next guy/gal the same anguish. Thanks!
