    Can anyone tell how to start from for pcam edge detection. I am done with camera working. But I do not understand what to do in the sdk where i can get the image data for processing and how I can send it to the hdmi ?
  2. Hi all, I download the "ZedBoard-FMC-Pcam-Adapter-Dual-Camera-2018.2-1" and open it on vivado 2018. There are four MIPI D-PHY (A,B,C,D). In #A, we have a RxByteClk = 84MHz, which can be derived from total data rate =1344Mbps. However, when i check the configuration of #B,#C,#D, all of them have RxByteClk = 25MHz. Can I know how the difference or how the 25MHz be derived? Thanks. BR
  3. I'm trying to use Pcam FMC with a ZCU102. I've looked through this post so I know there may be a way forward by editing the netlist using post synthesis constraining. Because the I2C switch select lines are grounded on the ZCU102, I can only communicate with CAMA so going to use this as a one camera interface. I've also verified the IO requirements and other architecture requirements. So far, I don't see anything stopping me from using to interface with camera A with a ZCU102. However, I want to use the MIPI D-PHY Xilinx IP but need help with the configuration. Looking through the timing
  4. Hey, I'm using the VCU118 evaluation board with the Xilinx Ultrascale+ XCVU9P. I'm trying to connect to the FMC-pcam-adapter card. The MC20901 offers a SLVS to LVDS Conversion, so I can connect to the FPGA with LVDS and LVCMOS IO-STANDARDS. I also have a CSI controller with a PPI interface. But, the Vivado's D-PHY IP can't have the HS(high-speed) and LP(lower-power) "split" into two differential pairs. Is there a way to use the Xilinx's D-PHY IP for ultrascale with the board ? or find a simple verilog connverter or DPHY ? Thanks, -Gal
  5. Dear All, I was able to port the camera design to Genesys 2 board. I see this Visible Border Line as mentioned in Zybo Z7 demo description. Is there a solution for this problem already available? I use following IP blocks: MIPI_D_PHY_RX (1.3) -> MIPI CSI-2 Receiver (1.1) -> AXI_BayerToRGB (1.0) -> AXI_GammaCorrection_0 (1.0) -> axi_vdma Thank you Linas
  6. Is it possible to connect PCAM 5C into Zynq-7000 through a XADC pmod (using some adapter)? Is there any tutorial, example and or suggestions how to do that?
  7. Hello again, As I continue to experiment with this development kit, I would find it valuable to be able to capture Raw images. Is that possible to do somehow? I didn't see any mention of it in the Demo documentation but it is possible that I missed it. Thanks again -Ted
  8. Hi everyone, So I have spent probably too much time trying to figure this stuff out on my own. I should preface this with I have little to no experience with these types of boards (FPGA). I followed the Demo documentation (https://reference.digilentinc.com/learn/programmable-logic/tutorials/github-demos/start ) line by line, multiple times and keep netting the same results. I have installed version "Vivado Design Suite & Xilinx SDK 2016.4" and downloaded the appropriate project files for the PCAM 5D project (2016.4) I am using a windows 10 machine. The demo instructions
  9. hello, I just run the PCAM demo project and noticed the white balance is off. I can see the AWBs working but the image has a green cast. Has someone experienced similar results or can this be improved changing my lightening environment? What would be the best approach to improve AWB? Does the sensor provide a calibration mechanism? I think I could load different colour matix'es to the sensor for different lighting scenarios. Is this a good solution? Alternatively I can implement my own algorithm and configure it with manual white balance. What other factors

Hi, I am a newbie...I am interested in buying Embedded Vision Bundle, but i have some technical concerns.I read on the datasheet of Zybo Z7-20 that the PCAM module is working (or preset) under the specific frame per second rate ( such as 30 or 60 fps) at the full resolution.
