Hello all, some months ago I had a Basys 2 Board that I perfectly could program via multisim, designing an schematic and then exporting the design. Now I have an Arty S7 on my hands and I would wish to do the same. I followed the tutorials: http://www.ni.com/tutorial/14871/en/ and https://reference.digilentinc.com/learn/programmable-logic/tutorials/program_fpgas_through_multisim/start An instance for the Arty S7 was created in multisim and it gave me the option to generate the VHDL file from the design (I haven't verified the file yet). Multisim won't give me the programming op
Hello! I have students trying to use MSI down counters in multisim, and programming them to the CMOD S6. In simulation, we aren't experiencing any ripple issues, but when we transfer to the CMOD S6, the counters reset at 0111 instead of waiting until 1111. I've attached the multisim file. We've tried putting a series of inverters on one of the outputs of the counter to see if it would "slow" the bit enough to prevent the trigger, but it doesn't really seem to be working. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! RippleIssue.ms12

Does anyone use MultiSIM to program BASYS2? I teach an intro digital course that uses MultiSIM PLD Design to schematically program BASYS2 fpgas. I get a message when using ADEPT to upload that states: "Startup clock for this file is 'CCLK' instead of 'JTAG CLK.' Problems will likely occur. Associate config file with device anyway?" I can change this in Xilinx, but can't seem to in MultiSIM PLD. Any thoughts?
