Hello Everyone, I am trying to debug a high speed embedded application with DIO operations and I need to continuously monitor and log the logic levels of DIO. Is there a way to acquire continuous logic signals for the high speed DIO using WaveForms with Digital Discovery? I would appreciate a quick response on this. Thanks Nikhil Chaudhari

Using digital signal in logger
DurandA posted a question in Scopes & Instruments and the WaveForms software
Is it possible to use digital signals in addition to analog channels with the data logger (Logger) tool in WaveForms? I know this is possible with the Scope tool. However, I want to use digital signals generated from a MCU to delimit windows in long-running captures. Is it possible to access digital channels from a script using a function? -
Hi, and thanks for the support so far. After a lot of experimenting and reading the help, I'd like to understand the "envelope" of possible triggered, repeated, logged acquisitions, which can run unattended for days or weeks. We need to leave a system in an inaccessible location and log at least 4 analog channels with at least 100 KHz sample rate, for a time of at least 100 usec after the trigger occurs for each triggered event. We believe these events have a time frame of 5 or so 60 Hz cycles, so that's 85 msec post-trigger and we'd like a cycle or two (16 or 32 msec) of pre-trigger. These ev

Waveforms - Scope - Logging - Image
G_Reynolds posted a question in Scopes & Instruments and the WaveForms software
Hi, I would like to see the logging have the option to log the (Scope Image) every time the logging saves a CSV file, ie (xxxx.csv), (xxxx.jpg). This should be quite simple to add this function to logging as Export Image already exists. This would be great to quickly view images of logged data to add into reports or select a CSV file for processing. The only way to save a scope image at present is to use, File> Export> Image> SAVE. Might this be implemented in the future? Thanks -
Hello, you made great products with Analog Discovery and Electronics Explorer, especially since Waveforms 3 offers even more functionality! For Debugging especially the Logging-function is useful. In my case I'm sending SPI signals to a FPGA which controls a power electronics circuit. Some times there are glitches or faulty output values, so that I wanted to check the sent SPI signals. Therefore I want to log them and make a statistical analysis, since the errors are not periodical. I output a 50Hz sinus signal and send about 10 SPI commands per period. As sending the signals is much faster th
