  1. Dear all, I have a Digilent Open ScopeMZ and I would like to connect it to my PC using USB through an optical isolator. So far I tried the Ulinx optical isolator but is does not work (can not read any data). Can you propose on other optical isolator or an other safe way of conneting it to my PC? Bests, Stergios
  2. Hello, After i have red the Reference Manual i see that the the analog discovery kit is not isolated from the USB ground or EARTH. but when i measure with the multimeter : The USB ground has no connection with the oscilloscope , AWG and etc ground . And the ground of the external power supply jack also don't have connection with the signal ground. I checked the audio jack to, and there is connection with the signal ground. Does anybody tried to measure this and what are the results. Looking the schemes USB and Power connectors should have the same ground as the rest of the circuit.
  3. Hi Folks I'm using an Analog Discovery. For my current project I need to isolate it, but it doesn't work when I try to connect it with a USB isolator. According to the manual... I've tried USB isolators from 2 different manufacturers. The Analog Discovery doesn't work with either of them. When the device connects I get an error message during device configuration (image attached). Is it possible that the software has changed so that it now doesn't work correctly with a USB isolator? It may be a timing issue during configuration, since the isolator only runs at 12Mbps. If so, is it possible to download an old version of the software that does work with a USB isolator? Any help would be appreciated.
