Hi there! I'm trying to make differential clock(100MHz from oscillator) to differential clock output(40MHz differential) clk_100M_P&M is connected to external crystal oscillator(input) and I allocated clk_40_P&M to PIO port(output). clk_front , clk_back is for check point. when I checked, the result was : clk_front : 100MHz & clk_back : 40MHz . However, clk_40_P &N port didn't output some waveform. I have no idea what's the problem. 1st trial : clk_front & back : LVCmos33 and clk_40_P & N : LVDS25 -> result : LVCmos33,(bank34) clk_front & back (success) and (bank35) clk_40_P & N : LVDS25 ( failed ) 2nd trial : clk_front & back : LVCmos25 and clk_40_P & N : LVDS25 -> result : LVCmos25 ,(bank35) clk_front & back (success) and (bank35) clk_40_P & N : LVDS25 ( failed ) thank you for your help!
Hello, I was hoping to use your uC32 board to control 4 stepper motor drivers and to provide debug information over serial back to a PC. Unfortunately though the UART routine implemented in HardwareSerial only has a buffered RX implementation and not a buffered TX implementation. This means that at lower baud rates or with larger debug payloads the time to send the data into the serial line can take a rather long time. I looked around online and I can't find any pre-built libraries that implement an IRQ based UART TX Buffer on the PIC32 that would be compatible with the framework supplied by chipkit. I found one but it's based on entirely different compiler and set of libraries so doesn't appear compatible. http://phoenix-mindgame.blogspot.com/2014/09/pic32-uart-transmission-using-tx.html The regular core arduino HardwareSerial library was updated at some point to support a TX buffer, would diligent consider updating the HardwareSerial implementation that comes with chipkit for the uC32 to also support a TX buffer? UPDATE: I managed to implement a TX buffer without too much difficulty, not sure how robust it is though, this fixed my issue by eliminating blocking serial writes. This might be a useful feature improvement you would consider for the future.
I would like to know if it is possible to acquire more than one time the buffer on single buffer acquisition (acqmodeSingle) for continuous data after trigger. I want to aqcuire 10 times the buffer on frequency of 100MHz with 8192 buffer size.
Hi, I try to use the buffer tabs in the logic application for different acquisitions. example; acquisition2 (Tab 1-timebase 61 us/div) temperature registers (in this case). acquisition3 (Tab 2-timebase 376 us/div) all registers overview. But if i make acquisition 2 with a timebase of 61 us/div and make a new Tab (+button) for acquisition 3 (376 us/div) and make a Single shot, the program changes the timebase in my previous made Tab 2, too. What is the use of these Tabs if this is the case? Thanks in advance, Hans.
