  1. Hello, I have recently purchased the Analog Discovery 2 unit and I would like to easily obtain an accumulated count value in the logic analyzer. Is this something that is available within the software or is a custom script required? If this requires custom setup or script programming, can you point me to the documentation or project that I can view?? I appreciate any help...Thank you
  2. Hi, These are pre-purchase questions. Does the Digital Discovery have the ability to store data captured by the logic analyzer and save in a spreadsheet file on the PC running the software? Also, can the pattern generator output data from a spreadsheet file?
  3. Hi folks! I'm thinking of buying an Analog Discovery 2. One piece of functionality I need is sniffing a serial connection between two devices. Not just a set number of samples - I mean capturing both TX and RX bytes to file/PC memory, for however many hours I need to catch my nasty little bug. The actual amount of data transfered is low. I'm actually utilizing maybe 30% of the capacity, at around 10kB/s TX and RX. On top of that, I'd like to add support for my custom software protocol that's running on the UART. Kind of like in wireshark you can see what a packet is, not just a plaintext context-less byte barf. If waveforms doesn't support this, I'm completely fine with writing an utility that, say, takes raw UART data over loopback TCP and formats it externally. Is this possible on the Analog DIscovery? What settings should I be using to make it work like that?
  4. When using the Network Analyzer, can W1(+) & Scope Ch1(+) be at different nodes and still potentially produce a useful output (hypothetically/theoretically)?
  5. Hi all tagging some experts @jpeyron @attila Thank you for all the help in previous questions! From what I have gathered up till now is that I cannot access the protocol analyzers since they are at the application level and are not exposed to the SDK. However in my application I need a protocol analyzer along with the analog read of the AD2 simultaneously. (attaching previous post) So my only hope is to make a custom protocol analyzer to get the logic bitstream from the digital pins along with the raw waveform data. I tried to do the same in the code snippet attached. However the program hangs at line #79 at FDwfAnalogInStatusData. And also the logic bits i have read at this point do not reflect the right logic levels. Is there something I am missing? What is the right way to get both analog and digital data from the oscilloscope? EDIT: When it is not hanging at that line the digital values i have read from the digital pins are not the right value i am supposed to see (dont see the logic stream of the signal just half 1s and the other half 0s). How does it have to be setup to ready a signal with 500K - 1MHz signal levels? Thanks in advance! Shabbir main.cxx
  6. Hi, Whenever I am trying to use the logic analyzer in the 4th mode (16 x 16k buffer) and trying to capture spi events, the software get stuck to "config" as you can see on the picture attached. Please help!
  7. Are there any plans to add more interpreters? Can users create their own?
