This might be dumb question, but I'd rather ask it than risk blowing up my Analog Discovery 2. I just built up a QrpLabs QCX CW 40 Transceiver that produces approximately 5 watts of RF energy in the 40 meter band (7 megahertz-ish) and I'd love to learn more about the signal output with the Spectrum Analyzer feature of the Analog Discovery 2. I do have the device connected to a 20 watt dummy load so I won't be transmitting over the air while keying down the transceiver, but how should I properly connect it to the AD2? I don't assume the device would be terribly happy with a coax connection

Greetings! I'm working on a project using the Analog Discovery 2. I observed that the Pattern Generator can be used as a Transmitter and the Logic Analyzer can be used as a Receiver, if used properly. Here's the VB Script that I've been working on: AD2_Time_Testing.rar The VB Script does the following: 1). ASCII data is entered. 2). The algorithm in the code will convert it into binary to be transmitted by the Pattern Generator. 3). The Logic Analyzer will receive the bits in Record Mode. 4). The UART decoder algorithm will convert the bits received back into ASCII

How to read a CSV file in script editor and plot in wavegenerator ?

Greetings, I am creating a VBA program which uses the DigitalOut Functions in the dwf.vb file to replicate the capability of the AD2's Pattern Generator. I'm having trouble of declaring the FDwfDigitalOutDataSet API in VBA. I always encounter this error: I am aware that this is because of some data types in VB6 that are not supported in VBA. I've encountered similar errors in the FDwfDigitalOutRepeatSet and the FDwfDigitalOutDividerSet API. What I did was change the UInteger data type to Integer, since its the data type supported supported in VBA. Function FDwfDigitalOutR

Scope Probes as Test Leads?
wigs posted a question in Scopes & Instruments and the WaveForms software
New to electronics and the Discovery 2--Since the AWG leads do not pass through the BNC Adapter board, can I just use one of my scope probes on the 1X setting as a test lead? Anything I need to be careful of when doing so?
