  1. Hello, I'm planning on buying the product "Cmod C2: Breadboardable CoolRunner-II CPLD Module" to make some prototypes of future designs. I saw that, in order to program its CPLD (XC2C64A), I need to buy a USB to JTAG cable. Is the Diligent's JTAG-HS1 programming cable compatible with that CPLD and board?. I will be using the last version of ISE on Windows 10, will it be a problem?. If it helps answering, this are the links of the Digilent's store of those products: Breadboardable CoolRunner-II: https://store.digilentinc.com/cmod-c2-breadboardable-coolrunner-ii-cpld-module/ JTAG-HS1 programming cable: https://store.digilentinc.com/jtag-hs1-programming-cable-limited-time/
  2. Hi, We are going to purchase JTAG-USB Cable to debug our own developed chip. 2 questions here: 1. I assume this JTAG-USB Cable is able to auto-sense my VDD voltage level as long as it is within the range 1.8V ~ 5.0V. Is this correct? 2. We need this JTAG-USB Cable to do some configuration in our chip. Do I use "Digilent Adept Suite" or "Digilent AVR Device Programmer" to generate my JTAG signals/waveforms ? And one request: 1. I need a datasheet of JTAG-USB Cable datasheet if possible. Please advice, thank you. Tifei

    VHDCI cable datasheet

Hello, Can you please share a datasheet of the VHDCI cable sold on your store : http://store.digilentinc.com/vhdci-male-to-male-cable/ I am particularly interested by the internal wiring of the cable, which pairs are twisted together, etc... Thanks Jerome
  4. My Analog Discovery 2 was very sensitive to movement, with Waveforms reporting the connection lost at the slightest bump. Merely manipulating the flywire leads was enough to cause a disconnect. I determined that the plug on the USB cable that came with the AD2 was not able to seat completely into the AD2's USB jack. While looking through the top of the AD2's enclosure at the USB jack, I observed that the two metal "spring fingers" atop the USB plug were not inserting deeply enough into the jack to permit them to raise and latch into their corresponding holes in the top of the jack. After disassembling the AD2's enclosure, I used some (mechanical) files and an X-Acto knife to enlarge the enclosure's USB port hole so the entire USB plug can pass through (photo attached). With the enclosure assembled, the USB plug now seats completely into the AD2's USB jack. I can see that the two metal "spring fingers" advance into their intended positions and raise up into the jack's holes. Waveforms has yet to report a disconnect during my experiments with wiggling the USB cable.
  5. Hi all, I want to know the detail dimension of JTAG-USB cable connector header pin. I know this is very common header pin connector, but I want to understand its pin length and width to ensure the connection. Does anyone know about this? Thank you!
  6. I lost the USB cable that came with my Analog Discovery. Can I use any standard USB A to micro B cable ? If so, what cable length is recommended ?Thank You
