  1. A friend pointed me to http://www.hackersdelight.org/magic.htm
  2. Where did you find that? It is almost as good as this one -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fast_inverse_square_root#Overview_of_the_code
  3. Hi, I'm trying to figure out if the Nexys Video is compatible with this USB3.0 FMC board. I sent the makers an email asking if they knew if it was compatible with the Nexys Video and they replied; Our module works only with Vita57.1 or 57.4 FPGA carrier boards. Is the below mentioned Digilent board Vita57 compliant? We could not verify this based on the information posted on their website. The only details I could find myself at that it is a "Low Pin Count FMC connector" which seems like it is compatible with Vita57 in some way? Thanks for your help! Tim 'mithro' Ansel
  4. This is really awesome work! I'll definitely buy you a beer if we ever met in person.
  5. And now I don't seem to be able to fix the images in the previous post nor edit the images in the gallery
  6. The HDMI2USB project aims develops affordable open hardware options to record and stream HD videos (from HDMI & DisplayPort sources) for conferences, meetings and user groups. Our current focus is on around custom gateware running on FPGA hardware, our gateware if fully open and can be found on github. The gateware allows for both full matrix functionality and capture via either USB or Ethernet. A control terminal is also available giving the computer complete management of all functionality. We have been using the Digilent Atlys as a prototyping platform and are investigating also support
  7. Well I did manage to create an album now at https://forum.digilentinc.com/gallery/album/8-hdmi2usbtv-firmware-for-capturing-hdmi-and-displayport-via-usb-and-ethernet/ Slowly getting the descriptions and more action shots into that.
  8. From the album: HDMI2USB.tv - Firmware for capturing HDMI and DisplayPort via USB and Ethernet

  9. I couldn't figure out how to create an album in the gallery to group these graphics together (and to upload more action shots too). Any idea how to do that?

  11. This is so awesome! Thank you for creating this. I'll try and verify this on my own Nexys Video when it arrives. Tim 'mithro' Ansell
