  1. Hi, Guys

I have 10 ea ARTY-Z7-10 boards.  Brent new. I bought them for a project that end up not going forward. I sell it for US$ 150.00 each, well below list price.

Anyone interested, please get in touch with:

  2. HI, Jon,

I purchased more than 20 ea of the -10 version because there was no stock of the one I normally use. (-20). without IO . The information was not clear, as it was said on the website that both versions used the Shield Connectors. In fact the -10 units are of no use to me without those pins, because I use them in all my designs.

I would like to exchange the -10 units for the -20 units. Could I trouble you who I should talk to in order to do that ?

    Thanks

    Antonio

  3. Hi, Guys,

The 16 IO signals shield_dp26_dp41  do not appear in the ARTY-Z7-10 board definition files. They do appear in the ARTY-Z7-10 definition files, though.  All advertisements of the ARTY-Z7-10 boards never said that those pins are non functional on the boards.  Is there a correction for the board definition files that take those pins into consideration ?

    Thanks

  4. HI,Jon,

Yes, Yes - Indeed we don't know what under the hood of Vivado / Vitis and that brings all sorts of problems. I liked best when we had to develop all the VHDL files and nest to one another. That was complex but we had all under control.

They try to automatize everything for the user but when a problem arises, it is never easy to solve, nor there is enough information to guide us in the process of solving it.

I did some more tests and found out that those Makefile errors only appear when I use a certain custom IP that I created. Vivado compiles it without any warning and xsa file is generated without a problem. But in Vitis, the presence of that IP in the project causes the makefile error to pop up.

Would you have any hint to get me going ?

    Thanks

  5. Hi, Guys,

My designs use the ARTY-Z7-20 board

Many times when I start a VITIS project, I choose new platform project and add the necessary libraries to it. Picture 1 attached shows that lwip211 is selected.

Then I try to add an application project and I get a message saying that the lwip library is needed but is not present in the solution.

    Please see Picture 2 attached.

What am I doing wrong ?

    Thanks

  6. Hi, Guys,

I am facing problems in Vitis.

I used to have one project that worked perfectly in vivado 2020.  I just upgraded to Vivado 2021 and when I open Vitis and after migrating the project, several header files (Very important ones , like "stdio.h" , "stdlib.h", "String.h" are not being found by the new Vitis...  What can be going wrong ?  How to remedy the situation

    Thanks

    Antonio
