    Minized Pmod

Hi jpeyron, I have to connect a Pmod Hygro in a MINIZED pmod port.

    Minized Pmod

Hello I'm using a minized for the first time and I need to connect a pmod via block programming in vivado, but I'm finding it difficult: when I create the block design in the "board" tab the part related to the connection of the pmods is missing, as in the case of zedboard or basys. how do I go on if I do not want to program in vhdl / verilog?

    Pmod RF2

hi, I need to implement a zigbee network using zedboard and pmod RF2, is it possible? Can I create a mesh network? Or does only a point-to-point communication take place? thanks!
  4. Hello, I'm following this guide: https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/application_notes/xapp1078-amp-linux-bare-metal.pdf but I can not choose the CPU for the linux application. I am using SDK 2017.1 Linux application on CPU0 and bare-metal application on CPU1. Thanks
  5. My only need is to use the libraries paho (or similar if you suggest me other compatible) to send data to the cloud using the MQTT protocol. Is it possible to do all this without Petalinux? Returning maybe to use Windows as done until now? In case it is possible to load the paho libraries in the SDK which libraries do I use? In the tutorial I indicated in the previous post, it was enough to load a folder inside the project in the src folder by choosing OS platform Linux first. I also tried to do the same thing using standalone but in this case the libraries with dependencies become those of paho. I'm sorry but i'm new in Petalinux. Thank you.
  6. Hi, I'm using petalinux with zedboard and I would like to use a pmod to measure the pressure and send the data to the cloud using Paho MQTT. I have problems inside the SDK xilinx: after creating a new application project in OS Linux Platform and loaded the pmod program that I have to program its libraries give me error, specifically the infinite dependencies of the libraries. What mistake do I commit? Can you suggest a tutorial in which step by step indicates how to use Pmod in Petalinux? I followed http://www.zedboard.org/support/trainings-and-videos but when I try to model it on the zedboard with the Pmod DPG1 it does not work because of the libraries of the same Pmod. thank you.

    ZEDBOARD ARM

I'm using zedbord, how can I use only one arm of the two that it owns? it's possible? HOW? Thanks.

    Zedboard WiFi usage

I had done everything in exactly the same way, enabling the interrupt and fixing the file for adding the pins, but I used the external pmodSD and it did not work. Following your instructions everything works very well. Thank you so much. A question: in the example I can turn on and off the LEDs of the zedboard thanks to an interface in html. Is it possible to create a similar interface to command a pmod? In my case, I would just like to display the values of some pressure sensors.

    Zedboard WiFi usage

Sure, done, but it does not work anyway!! Maybe I'm missing something in the fpga configuration?

    Zedboard WiFi usage

PmodSD now works individually but I had to download the new vivado libraries again. Now I should follow the instructions in the following tutorial, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTeTMv3oiPw: the pmod wifi works the pmod SD no, it does not load the html page to interface the pmod to the browser. Can you help me? Thank you.

    Zedboard WiFi usage

    I'm using Vivado 2017.4 The program I load in SDK (it is present in the example folder, it does not perform any function) is: #include "PmodSD.h" #include "xil_cache.h" DXSPISDVOL disk(XPAR_PMODSD_0_AXI_LITE_SPI_BASEADDR, XPAR_PMODSD_0_AXI_LITE_SDCS_BASEADDR); DFILE file; // the drive to mount the SD volume to. // options are: "0:", "1:", "2:", "3:", "4:" static const char szDriveNbr[] = "0:"; void DemoInitialize(); void DemoRun(); int main(void) { Xil_ICacheEnable(); Xil_DCacheEnable(); DemoInitialize(); DemoRun(); return 0; } void DemoInitialize() { } void DemoRun() { FRESULT fr; u32 bytesWritten=0; //Mount the disk DFATFS::fsmount(disk, szDriveNbr, 1); if ((fr = file.fsopen("newfile.txt", FA_WRITE | FA_CREATE_ALWAYS)) == FR_OK){ file.fswrite("It works!\r\n", 11, &bytesWritten); xil_printf("OK!"); file.fsclose(); } else { xil_printf("NO!"); } while(1){ } } The Pmod port i'm using is JC Thanks.

    Zedboard WiFi usage

The Zedboard connects correctly to the network. By necessity I have to send the data collected by my sensors in real time on cloud. How should I proceed. Also as a first test I tried to save data on an SD card mounted on the pmod SD. But on the SDK does not even work the basic function suggested by the example in the driver folder that creates a .txt file and writes "it works". Where am I wrong? To configure the Pmod SD I used the tutorial https://reference.digilentinc.com/learn/programmable-logic/tutorials/pmod-ips/start Thanks!

    Zedboard WiFi usage

Hi, I have equipped my ZedBoard with WiFi connectivity and pressure sensors. Now I would need to transmit the sensor data via WiFi to the PC. Any suggestions? How can I make the most of Zed's WiFi? Thanks.

    DPG1 Pmod

Thanks for your help, I've followed your diagram in vivado and it works. When I start the sdk, the program in c starts randomly: I used the driver's main.c, copied it to helloworld and modified the code to let it detect the two DPG1 sensors connected to the splitter. I guess I should introduce code that applies to other IPs used: Constant, Concat, Pmod_Bridge, and Slice. Any suggestions for the code?

    DPG1 Pmod

how do i connect in vivado to 2 pmod at a single port with a host port as in the figure i attach? i'm using ZedBoard. I need to connect six sensor to my board and i thought the better way was to use a host port!
