Hi,
using a 1:10 probe, can I measure the 350 volts B+ voltage of a tube amp on the scope between plate and ground? AD specs say +-25volts input as max (which would mean no), but also anything between -50 and +50 when using single ended (equation 1 in the reference, which would mean yes).
Could someone please point me towards a suggestion for the calibration of the probes (square wave on W1 picked up and then compensated to be 'real square'?).
I am confused about the grounding requirements when using the scope inputs differentially. The reference manual states that it's mandatory to have a ground connection between circuit under test and the AD. Does that mean that I can probe any two nodes in the circuit (none of them being at ground node directly) as long as I use one black ground flywire connected to the circuit's ground node.
Thanks a lot,
Achim
