Which chips are used in the USB - JTAG cables?

I have a TG782T modem router supplied by my ISP, but it is locked to there specific settings (I.E. not able to be used with other providers), I would like to Jtag this thing so that I can unlock it from them, but I am not sure if this will work or not, can you advise? Cheers, I think one of the chips is a Spansion type chip, the other i don’t know. Thank you in advance.
