Hello, Does anyone have experience with the JTAG on the ARTY7 board? i don't want to use the Digilent usb connector, instead i want to connect directly to J8. 1- Does the Diligent usb circuit need to be unsoldered so it does not drive the jtag pins on J8? 2- Does anyone know the manufacture PN for the connector (J8) that digilent designed in (with a zig zag footprint)? Digilent doesn't want to show the connection from their usb jtag schematic, so its not clear if the jtag pins tri-state when the usb is not being used. There have been other queries on this forum about this, and i have not found a clear and proper response to date. So did anybody actually use J8 while the Digilent usb chip is installed on the board? thanks Matthew

Hello @JColvin I have similar questions regarding the jtag connector J8 1- If I install J8, do I need to disable the usb/jtag device so it doesn't interfere with the jtag? unfortunately Digilent hides the schematic page on how the jtag is hooked up, so it is not clear from the existing documents 2- What is the partnumber of the connector (with zig/zag pins) that goes in J8? thanks, Matt

Hi zygot, A few more questions 1- The arty A7 has proper termination on the ddr3 lines, where as the Nexys doesn't.. I would assume that the signal eye would be better on the Arty if the correct lengths were used, so would it be possible to run faster than 333MHz? Also did your engineers try to run it faster and determined the max speed is 333MHz for reliable transfers? 2- has anyone tried to run the ddr3 at max speed (533MHz) for the artix (-1) on any of your boards? thanks again

Hello, I'm looking for the fastest Artix development board that you have (in terms of DDR3 transfer rate). The Artix A7 says that it runs at 667MHz (so I assume that means 1333MT/s) The Nexys Video Artix board says it runs at 400MHz (800MT/s). Why is the Artix A7 so much faster than the Nexys video Artix board? or am I missing something? Both designs seem to use the Artix (-1) speed grade. thanks

Hello Where can I find a sample CS project example that uses the WaveFormSDK in Visual studio? The only thing in the samples directory is a wrapper, but no starting project. thanks Matthew
