  1. Hello! WaveForms 3.22.15, AD2 & AD3 Buffer accumulation in the oscilloscope does not work. Immediately after selecting an oscilloscope, the buffers are filled to the specified amount as provided. After each change of scale, movement of a curve, etc. the number of the scanned buffer is reset. After this sequence, the capture of several buffers stops. The counter shows a maximum of 1-2-3 buffers. 1. View digital 2. Digitizer: analog only. 3. Add: UART Sс С1 with default parameters. 4. Connect valid source of UART signal to channel 1. After this, you can do whatever you want, but the number of captured buffers will be constantly reset. You can close Digital view or so on. But if you remove the UART from the list of decoders everything works as it should again. Another strange thing is that this seems to happen only with UART decoder when valid sequence occurs. If the UART signal is always zero, the buffers are counted correctly. With best regards, Mikhail.
  2. Hello! WaveForms 3.21.27, Digital Discovery. When trying to turn on the power supply, this error appears and WaveForms tries to reconnect to the device. But same setup works fine with the previous version of WaveForms 3.21.26. With best regards, Mikhail.
  3. Hello! WaveForms 3.21.26 Example script for finding I2C devices does not work. "SyntaxError: Parse error line: 11" With best regards, Mikhail.
  4. Hello! When you turn off any channel of the oscilloscope, the list of digital channels is deformed (dramatic collapse). Please also check other modes. If a channel is not available (analog in "digital only" or digital in "analog only"), it is not marked as unavailable, but is replaced by another. Regards, Mikhail.
  5. Hello! WaveForms 03.21.19, Digital Discovery Something is wrong with PLL. In patterns I set the pulse "low 30k", "high 10k", "divisor 1". At 100 MHz it works normally, the pulse duration is 100 μs, the period is 400 μs. At 50 MHz, the width is 333 μs, the period is 1333 μs. This also affects measurements in the logic analyzer. WF 3.20.26 - works fine. With best regards, Mikhail.
  6. Hello! WaveForms 3.21.19, AD3 Tool: oscilloscope When I select "record" and "analog only", the analog and digital channel graphs do not match each other. The trigger positions match, but the start and end do not. In the recording parameters, the trigger is equal to 10%. With “digital only” and “digital and analog” modes everything is correct. With best regards, Mikhail.
  7. Hello! WaveForms 3.21.18, AD3 "Digital input options: digital, analog only or both". When I select "analog only", the digital sub-window submenu (digital samples and frequency) disappears from the Options menu in the right toolbar. On the one hand, there is logic in this. The sampling rate and sample count can be the same as for the analog part (64k samples for a digitized single signal, like 1-wire, that's interesting). But there is no menu or correspondence to real analog parameters. It seems to me that the transfer of these parameters from the analog part to the digital part has been lost. With best regards, Mikhail.
  8. Hello! WaveForms 3.21.18, AD3 Tools: oscilloscope and AWG. When I set the offset of channel C1 (so that I can see it higher on the screen), the signal that pass the C1 filter and in the AWG is also shifted up by this value. Those. I raised channel C1 by 1 volt up on the screen and the signal that comes out from the AWG (basic, source C1, amplitude 100%, offset 0.0) rose by 1 volt. I watch the AWG signal on another device. Is this right? With best regards, Mikhail. P.S. I want to install a radiator on Spartan-7. I think 70-75°C is too hot. Please tell me the distance between the screws on the case. I think it's about 65-70mm. P.P.S. Done. The holes are located at the corners of a 71.12mm (2.8") square. I used CNC to remove pads with a diameter of 6 mm to a depth of 0.5 mm and gained access to the screws without peeling off the label. If you use a cutter with a diameter of 1 mm, you can cut to a depth of 1 mm.
  9. Hello! WaveForms 3.21.17, AD3 When I tried to calibrate the AD3, the power supplies behaved strangely. After calibration using the Wizard, the specified and measured voltages differed by 0.1 volt. The quality indicator switched between red and green. Then I calibrated the power supplies individually and everything returned to normal. With best regards, Mikhail.
  10. Hello! WaveForms 3.20.36, DigitalDiscovery After reopening project: Digital IO pulls: + saved/restored - not shown actual state by sliders DIN pull: - not saved/always restored as "down" DIO drive/DIO slew: + saved/restored Logic: In record mode always fills only in first buffer. With best regards, Mikhail.
  11. Hello! WaveForms 3.20.35, DigitalDiscovery Supplies parameters does not save: Drive, Slew and pulls. Saves only voltage and threshold. With best regards, Mikhail.
  12. Hello! WaveForms 3.20.23, DigitalDisovery Wrong DIO labels in Logic. The right label is "DIO 24". With best regards, Mikhail.
  13. Hello! I am very happy with latest version of WF 3.20.22. "Scope to Digital" is very great and expected option. :-) Please add "invert" check box for conversion. I.e. when level is greater than threshold value the digital channel is zero. With best regards, Mikhail.
  14. Hello! WaveForms version 3.19.35. Windows 10 x64. 1. Can not select dual AD2 when one AD2 is green and second AD2 is blue (NI edition). With two green AD2 works well. 2. In status bar names of AD shown correctly. But serial numbers in are identical (one of this is doubled). With best regard, Mikhail. P.S. It is a pity that no overclock selection 125 MHz for 1Gs/s on Digital Discovery.
  15. Hello! WaveForms crashes. Version 3.19.29. Windows 7 x64. 1. Start WaveForms 2. Choose any DEMO Discovery (I found this with DDiscovery). 3. Open Protocol tab 4. Choose SWD 5. Select Master tab 6. Execute it one time 7. Choose CEC There is no crashes with connected Digital Discovery (not demo). With best regards, Mikhail. P.S. Please do not ask me how I found this. :-)
  16. Hello! I try to use AD2 and DD via USB isolator 480Mbit/s. As power source for Discoveries I use RECOM RS6-0505S, 6 W, 5 V, 1.2 A. DD works well but AD2 sometimes can not start with PLL errors. I have check power consumption (yellow line) with 0.1 Ohm resistor (10 X) as current shunt and see that at AD2 programming takes up to 1 A. There is no such inrush current when DD starts. With external power inrush current for AD2 is about 0.5 A and there is no problems at all. With best regards, Mikhail.
  17. Hello! 3.19.17 installs and uninstalls without problems. Thank you very much!
  18. Hello! Windows 7 x64. Installation failed. Version 3.19.16 (2023-02-03). Previous 3.19.15 (2023-01-27) works fine. With best regards, Mikhail.
  19. Hello! WF 3.18.52, Windows 7 x64, Digital Discovery Issue with custom pattern when it repeats counted times. First element of pattern is shorter by 20 ns than needed. There is a glitch of 10 ns at the end of the last element when value of the first element is different than idle. It does not depend of pattern clock frequency. With best regards, Mikhail.
  20. Hello! WF 3.18.45, Windows 7 x64, Digital Discovery 1. The template is displayed incorrectly when the delay is less than the window. 2. Not a big deal. Recording percentage is strange when the trigger position is around 90%. I think this is percentage of the "tail after trigger" not of all record.. With best regards, Mikhail. record_test.dwf3work
  21. Hello! Can you add more labels to the frequency axis? Intervals [1.1...2.9 MHz] and [1.9MHz...2.1MHz] looks the same. I think 5-10 labels based on the current span (for example 2.1-1.9 = 0.2 MHz => step 0.02 MHz) will be good. With best regards, Mikhail.
  22. Hello! In the file "test01.dwf3work" you can see the error. Maybe this is because the "start time" to the left of the marker is negative. The first correct sequence “27WR | 09" (between -400 µs and -50 µs) will disappear when "Start I2C from here" is selected at -400 µs. With best regards, Mikhail. test01.dwf3work
  23. Hello! WF 3.16.35, Windows 7 x64, Digital Discovery (Demo) 1. When I press "Start I2C from here" to the right of the marker I2C decoder works fine. When to the left of the marker the decoder skips first packet "27WR|09". First data samples are erroneous: SCL = 0, SDA = 1. 2. I am not GUI designer. But I propose to set "green markers" for "set first"/"set last" which will be keeping in any time scale. This will be good for delicate cutting of long sequences. I.e. when it is need to cut +/-one bit on the 1kb base. With best regards, Mikhail. test01.dwf3work
