  1. I have a project I need a little advice about. My buddy and I have the Nexys A7 FPGA development board. We are creating a project to where the FPGA will communicate with circuitry on a breadboard. Will any of the pmod bluetooth modules work and is there a tutorial that goes with any of them? I believe we need two bluetooth modules. One for the FPGA and another for the Breadboard that will connect with said circuitry on the breadboard. Can someone please help us? Thank you.
  2. Thank you for the information. I was not precisely looking for PID control. I saw the picture and the person using this motor is also using a feedback system. What I was more so wondering is if the uC32 with the motorshield works more like the arduino with the adafruit motor shield. For example, the header must read #include <Wire.h> #include <Adafruit_MotorShield.h> #include "utility/Adafruit_MS_PWMServoDriver.h" Adafruit_MotorShield AFMS = Adafruit_MotorShield(); Adafruit_DCMotor *rightMotor = AFMS.getMotor(1); Adafruit_DCMotor *leftMotor = AFMS.getMotor(2); To declare the motors. Then in the void setup() you must add in AFMS.begin(); Then in the main body which is the void loop I would have something like this to control the left motor. First I set the motor speed then I call it to move forward for about 2 seconds. Does the chipkit uC32 with the motor shield have something similar. I want to be able to control each individual motor speed due to different scenarios I may encounter. Thank you. leftMotor->setSpeed(100); leftMotor->run(FORWARD); delay(2000); Also, I am trying to connect the motors directly to the motor pins J5 and J7. Not through J6 and J3. These are just straight DC motors with no feedback.
  3. So I purchased a motor shield with the uc32. I wanted to control a couple of motors in order to drive my robot. Is there a library I have to include in my sketch. I know I can use the arduino IDE to control the uc32 with the motor shield. Also is there a certain way to declare the motors and is there a jumper I am supposed to remove in order to have the external power power the motors? Can anyone help please? Thank you.
  4. For the arduino, I know that Mega 2560 is the same as the uno except it has more pins. I saw the motor shield for the uc32 and was wondering if it will work with the Max32. Also will it work with the arduino uno or Mega2560. Can someone answer this question for me please. Thank you
  5. So I downloaded the software and tried it. I connected a capacitor and inductor on my breadboard. WHen I tried to set the frequency, it seems as though it was trying to set it to channel 1 only. Is there a way to set it so that whatever I set the amplitude and frequency to, that is for the whole circuit. Also, is there a way to have both the sinusoids on one screen instead on two different screens. Because of the fact I could not seem to acquire the amplitude and frequency on the system as a whole, I could not get a phase shift. Can someone help me with this please? THank you

  7. I am new to this forum and did not know it existed. I have a series parallel curcuit with resistor, inductor and capacitor. RLC CIrcuit. I am connected the two scopes at two different points in the circuit. What I was wondering is if there is a way to find the phase shift difference between two sinusoids. Can anyone help me with this. Thank you.
