jkwong475
Hi, I am interested in using a low cost digilent board in a low volume product. I would need to meet fcc ce requirements in order to sell this. I do not see any information about the digilent fpga boards and fcc ce compliance. Are any of the digilent boards compliant for fcc or ce? Thanks
Alex
Hi JKwong, which board are you interested in?
jkwong475
Really interested in any that have unintentional radiation certification for CE and FCC. The basys 2 or 3 would work well. Where can I find this kind of information on any of the boards?
JimO
Hello, Our board products are CE certified and ship into the EU on a daily basis. The Basys2 and 3 are both good to go. Thanks for your inquiry and for using our products. Best regards,
LariSan
Hello JKwong, These are products that are intended to be used as they are, and not as a commercial/ as part of another product. The CE that we are compliant with only covers the board in it's shipped state. If you put our board into your own product and wish to sell it, you need to apply/test for CE yourself. Hope that helps, Larissa
jkwong475
Hi Larissa, Can you explain what you mean by this? "The CE that we are compliant with only covers the board in it's shipped state." Was the board running an HDL test program when it was tested? Or was it unconifgured and doing nothing? Thanks.
